Challenge Rules and Terms & Conditions of Participation

The White Lady Challenge is all about having a great fun day's sliding while raising money for Disability Snowsport UK and the White Lady Tow Appeal.

There are however a few simple rules to help ensure the smooth running of the White Lady Challenge:


  1. All participants in the White Lady Challenge must be in possession of a valid lift ticket or season pass for the day and this ticket must be displayed in accordance with CML's ticket conditions.
  2. All participants must register with the White Lady Challenge Team on the day prior to commencing the Challenge. Registration will take place in the Daylodge T-bar (Level 2) from 8.30am till 10am.
  3. All participants must use the designated uplift for their descents to be counted towards the Challenge, only runs counted by the official scorer count. It is participants responsibility to ensure the official scorer acknowledges them and adds a run to their tally each time a participant arrives at the foot of the Designated Lift. In the event that lifts open prior to 9am, only runs commenced after 9am will count.
  4. In respect of Rule 3, the minimum ability standard required is to be safely and confidently ride the M1 Poma (which passes through red graded terrain).
  5. Conditions permitting the White Lady will be the principle piste for the Challenge, however participants are free to make use of any of the alternative Coire Cas side mid-mountain runs which are available and open on the day. Please select the route that best matches your ability in view of conditions on the day.
  6. Ride with care. While the Challenge is to complete as many descents as possible, the pistes and lift being used will be open to the Public throughout. Excessive speed, dangerous or reckless riding will not be tolerated and may result in Ticket Removal by Ski Patrol.
  7. Participants and their equipment must comply with CML's conditions of carriage.
  8. All Participants must check in at the T-bar at the end of the Day to collect their sponsorship forms which will have been verified with the number of runs achieved. (Need to leave early – see below)
  9. Any Participants who require to finish before lift closing time should check in with the official scorer at the foot of the lift to collect their sponsorship form.
  10. Participants in registering for the event accept full responsibility for all risks involved with participation in snowsports. By registering you are waiving the Event Organisers and associated good causes from any liability to participation in Snowsports and thus the challenge.
